Cliffside Park Woodcock Walk

Meet at parking area #2.
At 5:30 PM, we’ll meet at walk the trails during the daylight in search for early spring bird migrants.
By 7:15 PM, meet by the gate north of parking area #2 to walk the trail north where we will await to hear the “peents” and view the aerial dances of the twittering “Timberdoodle”, the American Woodcock, at twilight.

Wear waterproof boots (especially with the recent rain), dress warm, and bring a flashlight for the walkout at dusk.

NOTE: Please check back on the day of the event for any updates/cancellations due to weather (strong winds, thunderstorm activity, moderate- heavy rain), etc. We will post an update when possible.
