Picnic with the Peregrines

Bring your binoculars, chair, and lunch to the southwest corner of the Racine Courthouse lawn (southwest corner along 8th Street) at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 14.

Unfortunately the large lawn we previously enjoyed has been replaced by a gated parking lot, but we can use the smaller grassy areas. Be advised that downtown Racine will have some road closures due to a couple events in the area.

Spotting scopes will be available for closeup views aimed at the peregrine nest box or if they are perched elsewhere in view. In the meantime, check out the action at the link found at the bottom of this page:

(Note, as the young falcons can now fly, check back later if you do not see them. At some point in the future, they will depart the area.)
