Citizen Science: Where Bluebirds Fly – Learning Nest Monitoring (Part 2)

Discover Wisconsin’s bluebirds in two parts: An educational talk and an optional guided field experience. Participants may attend either or both parts.

Part one:
Bird Talk — Tuesday, June 16, 6 – 7 p.m.
Explore bluebird behavior, including their nesting cycles. Learn how you can support bird research and conservation as a citizen scientist using tools like eBird, iNaturalist and NestWatch.
The Community Room – Adult Services, 2nd Floor.

Part two:
Bird Walk — Saturday, June 20, 10 a.m. – Noon
Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary – 880 Green Bay Rd, Kenosha, WI 53144
Observe and collect data on bluebird nest boxes with Audubon leaders.
