Eastern Bluebirds

Hoy Audubon Society is proud to support a nest box trail program for Eastern Bluebirds in Kenosha and Racine Counties. Apart from bluebirds, these boxes also support other cavity nesting songbirds such as Tree Swallows and Black-capped Chickadees.

Do you enjoy watching bird behavior? Would you like to see up close the birth and raising of birds? Would you like to participate in a project to help bird populations grow? Do you like to take a healthy walk or ride in a golf cart? If you answer yes to these questions, why not become a Bluebird monitor? Opportunities exist to either have your own trail or assist others on theirs. It’s a lot of fun and very
rewarding. If you are interested in becoming a Bluebird monitor, please contact our Bluebird coordinator: Rick Fare: 262.902.9020.
